01 Delete your account inside the app
If you can sign in to Setlane, use the in-app deletion flow:
- Open Setlane.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the warning, enter DELETE, and confirm.
In-app deletion is permanent and normally begins immediately.
02 Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, send an email to support.

If the button does not open your mail app, email
support@setlane.app from the email
address associated with your Setlane account.
Subject: Setlane account deletion request.
Send the request from the email address associated with your Setlane account. Include only the information needed to identify the account. Do not send your password, Google password, payment-card details, or Google Play purchase token.
We may reply with a reasonable verification step to confirm that you control the account. The deletion request will be completed within 30 days after successful verification.
03 Data that will be deleted
Deleting your account removes user-linked data from active Setlane systems, including:
- your Setlane authentication account and profile;
- your email address and account identifier;
- workout routines and templates;
- custom exercises;
- workouts, exercise order, sets, repetitions, and weights;
- workout history and progress records;
- body-weight entries;
- Setlane Pro entitlements;
- Google Play purchase and subscription records linked to the Setlane account.
Deletion is irreversible. We cannot restore the account or its data after deletion.
04 Google Play subscriptions
When you delete your account inside the app, Setlane attempts to cancel an active auto-renewing Google Play subscription.
Cancellation depends on Google Play availability and successful purchase verification. You must confirm that renewal has stopped by opening Google Play:
Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Setlane
You can also review subscriptions at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
Deleting the app from your device does not cancel a subscription.
If you submit an external deletion request, cancel any active Setlane subscription directly in Google Play before or immediately after making the request.
05 Setlane Pro Lifetime
A Setlane Pro Lifetime purchase is permanently linked to the Setlane account on which it was claimed.
Deleting that account permanently removes access to the lifetime entitlement. It cannot be transferred to or restored on a new Setlane account, even when you use the same Google account.
Do not delete your account unless you accept the permanent loss of the lifetime entitlement.
06 Data that may remain temporarily
After account deletion:
- processed Google Play subscription-notification records may remain for up to 90 days;
- limited infrastructure logs, security records, failed-event records, or records needed to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes may be retained longer when reasonably necessary;
- temporary backups may retain deleted data for a limited period under our service providers' backup and security procedures;
- data stored locally on your device may remain until you clear Setlane's app data or uninstall the app.
Any retained information is restricted to the purpose for which it is retained and is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed.
07 What happens after deletion
After deletion:
- you will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted account;
- synchronized Setlane data will no longer be available;
- purchases cannot be transferred to another Setlane account;
- creating a new account creates a separate identity with no connection to the deleted account.
If an external request was submitted by email, we will confirm completion by email unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
